DJ Lo-Ki didn't like my top ten criteria:

Sorry if my criteria sounded like I was complaining. I
wasn't at all! I was simply trying to provide something
of a rationale for how I chose what I chose for my top
ten. Bottom line: I am *not* a DJ, and I don't buy like
one. I have a limited amount of money to spend and an
interest in many genres of music, so I have to be more
selective than a DJ whose goal is to be "on top of the
scene." I do appreciate your hard work in service of
the music, especially if you clue the rest of us list-
members in on the good stuff. But I think my buying
habits are more representative of the non-DJs on the
list, and I simply wanted to state that.

Also, I tried to anticipate complaints about the off-topic
nature of some of my choices, and address that up front.
Instead, I'm accused of patting myself on the back! It
looks to me like *you're* the one patting yourself on
the back, for being the first one on the block to have
Tricky and Fila Brazilia. Well whoop de doo.

Before I start getting too bitter and resentful, I'd
just like to say I wish we could be talking about the
music, instead of my petty criteria which was obviously
secondary to the goal of providing some recommended
listening. I've seen way too few posts on here lately
discussing the music in any detail.

Peace.
