First, Freak Power have an album just out or soon to be out called something
like "More Everything For Everybody". The "New Direction" single has been
out for a while and it is not terribly jazzy or funky [Fila Brazilia fans
will like their remix].

I agree that Beats International was a great band but the singles/remixes
were always better than the albums (I loved the albums as well but the
singles got the crowds going). Actually Freak Power's "Drive Thru Booty"
contains mostly material from an unreleased 3rd Beats International album.

Norman Cook is also responsible for alot of other sounds: Fat Boy Slim,
Fried Funk Food, Mighty Dub Cats, Pizzaman, etc. He has been focusing in on
underground house sounds a lot in the past year or so.

I am thinking about gathering things up for another version of the Norman
Cook discography which has not been updated in a while. The problem is I
don't have much info on all the new projects or incomplete info. If you
want to help you can e-mail me, I'm mostly in need of Pizzaman, Fat Boy
Slim, and Mighty Dub Cats stuff.

Freak Power is beautiful baby,

Jim
