ahead a great dj is able to interact with the crowd and change on a dime
when he/she senses the mood going in one direction or another. To me
deejaying live (as opposed to on radio or tape) is a two way street and
involves feedback from the crowd (which you may or may not agree with or
react to, but must acknowledge). A dj who just plans a set in advance and
doesn't vary from it no matter the crowd, club or vibe is a poor dj in my
opinion (hey he can just drop off the tape :>).
