juano, i'm afraid i have no idea what you're trying to say here... my 1st
inclination was to go off on you, and then i thought better of it--you seem
like you mean well. i have to say though, that mostly what this post does
is arouse anger. this is not a hiphop list, it's an acid jazz list. part
of acid jazz (depending on who you speak to) is comprised of hiphop, not to
mention that it's a root music for the form. so it is natural for us to
occasionally, deviate into discussion of it. that doesn't mean that we're
"not ready" for the "next thing". personally, i just like to define terms &
boundaries, so everyone's on the same page (or at least is aware of the
differences where they REALLY exist--i.e. the term, not the idea). a
fundamental step of debating, is agreeing on definitions of terms. otherwise
you have arguments like
person A: "i don't like cars, i prefer autos!"
person B: "autos suck, cars rule!"
