What's funny is Afrika Bambaata did a gig recently here in Orlando and came
by my shop to get some new records beforehand. Very nice down to earth guy,
he is. It's no surprise to see Bambaata spinning with Grooverider... what
he was interested in at my shop were jungle 12"s! He bought the latest
Creative Source and Mystic Moods 12"s (at my recommendation, yep!). But I
think he'll be playing them at 33RPM instead of the intended 45... "That
jungle shit's funky at 33!" he said.
