LA HAPPENINGS:
I haven't gotten to an LA Weekly recently, so I apologize for an
un-updated list...Just remember Butterflow plays every Friday and the
Polyezter Players play every Thursday at LunaPark, and the
Internationalist this week has their once-a-month ska night, so no Acid
Jazz this Friday :(
JIBE NEWS:
Jibe quit their weekly Thursday night venue at the Velvet Room in Los Feliz
because we just about had it with us and our audience getting screwed
over by the staff there...we apologize for the rude doorman and bartender.
We did get a great crowd last Thursday, and people were dancin'...only
the staff there wasn't too cool with that, because the club doesn't have
a forkin' DANCE PERMIT!!!! (and they have a dance floor too - what gives?).
Wanna give madprops out to the STEREOTYPES, the DJ group that spun for
Jibe on Thursday night. They're slamminbombdopeallthat! Great taste in
tunes. We're sure to work with them again. They can be contacted at

artists, please let me know, I'd like the list to be as comprehensive as
