I disagree. I've listened to most of Hancock's early 60's stuff and it
doesn't seem that out of line with waht everyone else was doing at the
time. It wasn't until albums like _Fat Albert Rotunda_ anf the like
where I can see a lineage between and modern AJ. As for Horace Silver,
I've listened to fewer of his albums, maybe you can point me to a
specific album I should check out.
