The Red Snapper album 'Reeled and Skinned' (actually it's a compilation of
the Snapper, Swank and Hot Flush EPs) is on Warp (Warp CD 33). Wonderful
album, and if I read the liner notes correctly, it's all done without synths
and samplers. The members are all credited with more 'traditional'=
instruments.

My favorites on the two '...after hours' albums were Brooklyn Funk
Essentials, 8Up, Marden Hill, F.R.I.S.K., and Dark. But, I already knew and
loved 9 Lazy 9, Red Snapper, Funki Porcini and Kruder and Dorfmeister. These
are 2 *excellent* compilations.

Marc.
