Went to see Mother Earth last night at Alleycats in Reading, not
really expecting much, as I think I overplayed the People Tree, and also
they had some poor reviews on this list; they were brilliant - the guy
that looks like the hippy out of Withnail and I is a great front man,
and they did exellent versions of Stardust Bubblegum, and Jesse. Next
week we get to see Transglobal Underground, a bit off topic for those not
into dance generally, but a sh$t hot band anyway. Things are looking good
in Londons hippest overspill!
