I heard their album, it's on BMG, right? I was somewhat disappointed.
I was expecting real grooves but I had to wade through a lot of this
(pseudo?) abstract concept shit. It was okay, but I decided not to buy it.

Who are they? I heard they're playing at Internationalist in LA on
May 31 with an album release party. I also heard they're on LaFace records,
which is sort of unusual for an acid jazz act - it's the label owned by
pop/R&B producer Babyface (yes, that one).
