Is it all like "The Hump"? No. She did more stuff like that earlier in
her career (late 70s) but her albums would in general fall into the
"soul/funk" category in your average early 80's Our Price. Personally, I
love her stuff - "Straight From The Heart" (1982) is one of my all time
fave LPs. You've probably already heard her biggest hit, "Forget Me
Nots" (from SFTH), not least sampled and otherwise borrowed from on
George Michael's "Fastlove", and "Haven't You Heard" turns up in Zhane's
"Groove Thing".
