i think a lot of us here listen to the orb (i'm presently listening to brian
eno) and beat-nicked music. the acid-jazz (label) comp "groove shop" feat.
some tripped out stuff not unlike the orb. mo wax has put out some "floaty"
stuff, so i don't think you're dreadfully off-topic here.

while i wouldn't feel comfortable presenting myself as an authority (that
trick works better at parties), i can say that i am experienced w/hard disk
recording. i would be happy to field questions on that subject to the best
of my ability, but i think it's more appropriate to keep this one on the
private email tip...
