I've got the Ninja Tune version, and it has instantly become one of my
favorites. It seems like they have run around to some exotic places (Peru,
Bolivia, etc) and sampled lots of stuff - including the aforementioned 3
drunk musicians. The whole track is them (local musicians) singing and
playing in a very drunken manor in the Poncho Cafe - complete with all the
street sounds. Another track is just a recording of street sounds in
Huancayo, Peru. Strange.

But, the album is full of brilliant music (esp. 'Running Rude'). I s'pose it
would be a mixture of world music and tr*p h*p. If you've heard any of the
Up, Bustle & Out tracks on any of the Ninja compilations, you'll have a
rough idea of what to expect. Luvvverly stuff.

So, of course, I now want to get hold of the first album - The Breeze Was
Mellow, I think. Has anyone heard it? What did you think?

Marc.

(Now playing: 'Like Janis' - Rodriguez. So, I like a bit of variety!)
