What makes you think I have an opinion on this?

I just picked up that Alex Reece album on someone's recommendation
(obviously not Tim's). I like it, don't love it. It's pretty
accessible stuff. One or two good songs, the rest sort of there in the
background. People seem to be slobbering over it in the press though.
I've seen clips calling Reece a genius. I wouldn't go that far.

Actually Tim was probably referring to my opinion on Straight No
Chaser and positive reviews. I think there are too many overly glowing
reviews in the press in general, not just in SNC. Critiscism is hard
to find in the media. They can't be critical, you'll lose advertising
dollars, you'll alienate readers. It would be a nice to see a better
balance in the press between positive and negative.

Just my (critical) opinion.

I haven't had the chance yet to pick up the new Chaser but, BRAVO! I would
have to agree entirely with them - I see nothing innovative or exciting in
Alex Reece's music. It's nice when it comes on and all the girls flood the
dancefloor but as music in and of itself, it doesn't do anything for me.
Chaser is always so positive about everything... not that I want them to be
negative all the time but a blend... anyway, I'm going to go get some coffee.

Gordon, didn't you have an opinion on this?
