I haven't seen much talk about Sweetback on the list so far...
I figured I might as well see if others have had a chnace to check it out..

For the uninitiated..Sweetback comprises of the three guys from Sade's work,
Stuart Matthewman, Andrew Hale and Paul Denham - it also includes vocals
from Amel Larrieux of Groove Theory fame (who I must say sounds outstanding).

I am an avid Sade lover - smooth sultry vocals are definitely my style and I
was ecstatic to find this in my local store. Like me, Sade fans won't be
let down by the mellow style of this album, it obviously relies less on
vocals than any of Sade's work, but I find it compensates by being slightly
more adventurous. Don't miss it.....

Is this a brand new release? Or have I missed the boat on this one
completely? I am in Melbourne Aust and I was sure I would have seen
discussion about this CD months before I could lay my hands on it.
