towa tei/the producers of future listening have a wide range of
taste/knowledge of music as it's definitely heard on the album. sorry i
don't have the track listing in front of me, but i think its #6 or #8, is
a redone dance version of a dave pike song -- very indian sounding. the
album definitely has the quirky japanese sound similar to pizzicato five
and beautiful brazilian rhythms, and vocals. can someone identify the
brazilian vocalist featured on a few of the tracks-- i checked the
credits and i remember reading her name wondering if there was a relation
to astrud.
