I'm not on the B3 list now - I was briefly a member when it started, but I
have a problem with the use of the word "groove" on *that* list - IMHO a
Hammond B3 isn't about "groove" (though it definitely CAN groove, but things
like drums, percussion and basslines lend much more to groove than a B3 can)
- When I think of a B3, I think of "flava", "grit", "grind," "UNH!", "growl"
or just plain,
"breeeeEEeeEEeeEEeeEEeeEEeeEEeeEEeeEEeeeeAW!"
(my best literal description of an overdriven B3 upward glissando pumped
through a Leslie speaker)

(A B3 with percussion setting on)
