I saw a recent posting re: Jamiroquai's new CD release in the States. I
read a recent Billboard colum--Dance section--which had very favorable
things to say about "Travelling without Moving"... The CD, as you know,
was released in the UK and Europe on 9/9. The column says that the first
US single will be "Cosmic Girl" (as opposed to "Virtual Insanity" in
Europe) and that David Morales is already doing a special remix..
The single will be released in November--presumably to coincide with
their brief US tour in December--but that Sony won't be releasing the
whole CD (and one assumes, somewhat altered: I wouldn't mind if they
dropped one or both of the instrumentals. We know what a didgeridoo is
now.) until...January.. This sounds nutty, but..oh well.
ARe you able to get the CD where u are? I hope so, because it is a
fantastic disc. I might have gone with "High Times" as the first single
here--and it is one of the best tracks on it--but we all know what
happened with "Space Cowboy" as single last time in this country...
