Just as excellent as previous Mighty Bop releases, but this time
they have a coupla 'more vocal' dub mixes: "Peau d'ane" and "je
n'ai pas le choix" featuring Louise Vertigo, and she sounds pretty
good on those beats, which also come in instrumental.

Plus, there's a long slow-deep house in a St Germain kinda style,
"moody's mood" still featuring Louise Vertigo.

But my favorite track of this double-12" is with no doubt "Motor Psycho"
a mid-tempo (96 bpm) killer, with addictive bass and discret trumpet
helping the drum machine on the incredible beat with deep samples
thrown on top. Excellent dj material.

Well, I mentioned "deep" twice, so I guess for me it makes the
release pretty deep. Mighty Bop has been a regular in my bins since
the first EP (Les Jazz Electroniques,94) on Yellow, on of these
rare artists that I don't have to listen to before you I anymore :)

I've seen several samplers but have avoided the temptation so far :)

About the Reminiscence Quartet, are they still on Yellow and what's
the title of the new release? Loved the previously mentioned Rytmo
Brasilico (sp?). Is the new release latino sounding too?

what?)
