I guess I didn't expect so many posts to this newsgroup.
Being that its really taking a long time for Acid Jazz to get jumping
in Hawaii, i guess i was being a little ignorant as to the volume of
acid jazz "afficionados". It's been a long time since I've listened
to my shit at home, let alone buy anything.
I'm mostly curious as to what people are peepin nowadays...
I'm familiar with most of the stuff out there, just been away
from my purchases for awhile.
I think the last couple-a things i picked up were Ronny Jordans
latest piece and I actually found some Mo Wax compilations on cd while
in Hong Kong this past Summer. (something you will practically NEVER
find in Hawaii...
I'm familiar with most of the labels and the "styles" of the artists
they produce. Probably my favorites come from Talkin Loud, although
I pretty much enjoy any and all of it... Eight Ball, Ubiquity, Mo
Wax, Dorado, etc....etc...
Just if anyone wants to respond with what "the shit" is to peep, then
please respond!
