I have a friend who has been a hardcore hip-hop fan/DJ/producer since
we were both around 11 years old and he still talks about Kraftwerk.
That original electro sound really crossed over and affected people
living in totally different scenes and circumstances. The fathers of
modern dance music? Why not. And probably the brothers of a whole slew
of other modern types of music too. I think I'm going to have to go
and track down some old Kraftwerk for myself, their name is popping up
too much lately.

Hey... You got it!! Just listen to (for example) the drum treatment on
Trans Europe Express and then to some of the stuff Kruder & Dormeister
is using on the before mentioned mixalbum.... same shit, different tune.

If any of you missed out on Kraftwerk (god hope you havent) check them
out.... Im a real "old" fan of theirs and bring out the records from
time to time... they never stop to amaze me, one always finds some new
angels in theire songs, no matter how simplistic they might be...

Nice to see a fellow beleiver on the list :)
