The Fat Boys tune probably isn't so far off mark. 90% of all go-go jams
are cover versions.....more specifically, somewhere in the middle of a 2
hour percussion jam one of the players/singers will throw out a riff
or lyric from a popular song (the theme from the Inspector Gadget cartoon was huge)
and the rest of the band will just roll with it.....you'll also find
go-go remixes on DC radio....
