Two posts in one day ( a new record for me ) lurk no more!

I always wished i had an older friend with a really fat record
collection who wouldn't mind parting with some musty old vinyl.
Then it actually happened. an undisclosed amount of cash, (not much) and a
few CDs (trades for the good ones he didn't want to part with) and I had
some funky stuff to throw down at the club.

Here's a brief listing of some of my favorites no track listing, cause I'm
at school.

Gill Scott Heron - Its Your World
The Meters - Look-a-py-py (Supa funky!)
James Brown - Hot Pants
Miles Davis - Water Babies
Roy Ayers Ubiquity - Lifeline (running away - Super disco funky!)
The Commodores - the one with brick house on it
Curtis Mayfield - Curtis
Superfly
Live!
Isaac Hayes - Hot Buttered Soul
Shaft
Funkadelic - The Mothership Connection
Michael Jackson - Off the Wall
Rufus and Chaka Kahn - the one with "do you love what you feel" on it
a buncha earth-wind-and fire records,
The Isley Brothers -brother, brother, brother
Fight the Power
Marvin Gaye - All of em'
Herbie Hancock - Rockitt - the 12"
Headhunters

i'll throw down a couple of reviews when i get a chance. Most people in
the know on the list probably already have alot of this stuff, but i was
just so overjoyed to share it with y'all, because if it wasn't for the
discussions on this list for the past 2 years or so I've been on here,
I wouldn't have been exposed to so much great music. THANK YOU
