let's be fair. in order to compete w/legend, george would have to come up
w/a masterpiece! it's hard to do that every time out. even some of the
"classic" albums aren't all that. for instance "uncle jam wants you" only
has 2 cuts worth listening to("knee deep" & "freak of the week"), "america
eats its young" has "loose booty" & "pussy" but there's other stuff on there
that sounds like bad grateful dead.
i remember thinking that "cinderella theory" was wack, but it grew on me (i
*still* dig "tweakin'" featuring chuck d & flav). sometimes things take time
for you to get them. i just heard a cut last night at a club that was
slammin' (didn't catch the name, but it's got a lot of clinton/pfunk samples),
and i'm definitely thinking about checking the album out...
