Don't have any specific info about Vibraphonic, but I do have the=20
self-titled CD, as well as Vibraphonic 2. The CD's I have are reissue=
s=20
from Hollywood records, so the price was right. I managed to pick up=20=
the=20
self-titled in the used-bin for $6 US. If you liked "Can't Get Enough=
",=20
you'll love either of their albums.
=20
I dig vibes and this group definitely knows how to put them in the mix=
. =20
They mix 'em in without over-saturating the songs. There are a couple=
of=20
tracks that are laden with vibes and those happen to be my favorites.=20=
=20
There are also some nice guitar grooves mixed in on a few tracks. Onl=
y=20
about half the songs have vocals, but what's there adds a dynamic=20
dimension to the groove (ala BNH, Incognito, etc.). =20
=20
Incidentaly, someone on this list (I'm deeply indebted) first turned m=
e=20
on to Vibraphonic. Hope you'll enjoy the smoothness as much as I have=
. =20
Nuff said, get 'em and enjoy 'em.
