Griots is a hip hop record, no two ways about it although the beats are a little
more abstrakt than typical hip hop. We have received rave reviews from URB,
Hits, Beat Down, Option and numerous other sources. If you are into hip hop,
it is a good record to buy.
Swing Machine is Reynald Deschamps (The Crazy Frenchman) if you like the
CFM Band or The Crazy Frenchman Band, you will also find this very
appealing. It is definitely house-jazz, but it has a nice little groove and a bit of
a party vibe.
