She had a single out here (NY) last autumn with a Japanese chap, Toshi
Kubota. If I remember correctly, the song was a cover of The Two of Us.
Apparently Kubota is huge in Japan, so perhaps she is concentrating on that
market.

I saw Kubota supporting Roy Ayers at SOBs around that time. I'm afraid I
never quite got into his set, and much to my disappointment he sang the duet
alone.

I still dig out the UK Black album occassionally and had not even heard of
War Goddess. How do they compare?
