I cant agree. BNH and Jamirquai are both great, and yes, Jamiroquai IS
fresh as you say...but unique? naaw...
Even tho i love bands like Repercussions, BNH, Incognito and Jamiroquai
i cant really see the uniqueness in their sound... It sounds to me that
they have found a formula that works (have worked for decades) and
theyre sticking to that, maybe not because of the $$ but because theyre
afraid to do something new OR simply because thats what they prefere
personally. As for JK, how can you NOT see the S.Wonder connection?? the
guy sounds just like him!

When i fist started to get into acid jazz (i came from hiphop) it was
ofcourse BNH, Jamiroquai and their likes that i was exposed to first...
i loved it,but the ONLY somewhat commercially successfull band that
REALLY blew my mind was Galliano... they got their own sound and arent
afraid to innovate...unlike the earlier mentioned bands that..well..are
ok but becomes alittle limited..if you ask me.
