The latest issue of US News mentioned Us3 and the new album, along with
the Squirrel Nut Zippers as examples of how jazz is replacing grunge. Is
this new Us3 album another example of what happens when a group hits the
mainstream? I've had the album for a week or so and agree it doesn't do
much.

The article says that Horace Silver for one is quite satisfied with the
Us3 sampling his work because his first royalty check was more than the
total he ever made for his own recordings on Blue Note, for what it's
worth...
