I borrowed the video from the manager of Throb records (as it was sent
out via promo only outlets- I guess) and taped it if anyone want a
copy...I liked it but thought that they could have done a far superior
job, the long version is closer to the director's vision, the short
version around 3 minutes of outtakes of the the longer version (10-12
min). The concept is a spy video (which if any of you have heard my
mixed tapes, seen any of my gigs (in NY) or heard any of my posts- I'm
really into this spy concept) but the context is more fragmented, as
though the footage shot was tossed on the editing room floor and then
put together in the order which they picked up. Cool and mysterious but
somewhat pointless. They should watch 39 Steps.
I guess the best explanation is what I told my video freak
friend-
kevin, great concept - bad execution. But Cool music of course.
