Hopelessly optimistic comparison I'm afraid. One good song (you're not
alone) does not a Portishead-like make. Judging from the rest of the album,
it's the kind of coffee-table music to be expected from a former member of
Simply Red. As for Trip Hop, that's a bit of an extreme title for something
that resembles a cross between pure pop music, house and the lightest end of
the junglist spectrum. Don't get me wrong, You're Not Alone is a really good
POP with loads of capitals tune. However, I couldn't see them getting a
level of credibility their output deserves.
