I have 4 LP's from croppled dick hot wax...all of which are (soft) porn
soundtracks from the 60's and 70's.
If youre familiar with the three double-LP's of Russ MEyer soundtracks
that has been re-released, these are very similar to that. IMO the stuff
ive heard from Crippled Dick Hot Wax is mostly better than the Meyer
soundtracks. Oh..and there's no anoying dialogue or other sounds from
the movies getting in the way of the music (this got SO anoying on the
Meyer soundtracks)
When i first bought them it was just to find weird samples, but the
music wasnt half as cheesy as i thought it would be...well..yes it
WAS..but i really liked it. Lots of horns, strings and dope basslines,
some uptempo stuff (makes me think of the french riviera and Citroen
carchases) and the occational tune with vocals on it :)
Heres what i have so far, ill defenetly get more!
*Jerry Van Rooyen - "At 250 Miles Per Hour"
(This album got parts of the soundtrack's to 'Death on a rainy day',
'How short is the time for love', 'The vampire happening' and '
Necronomicon/Succubus'.)
*Manfred Hubler & Siegfried Schwab - "Vampiros Lesbos - Sexadelic Dance
Party"
*Gert Wilden & Orchestra - "Schulmadchen Report"
Aparently Schulmadchen Report (Schoolgirl Report) was just one in a
whole series of "...Report" movies that came out in germany between 1968
and 72.
*various - "Beat At Cinecitta"
Music from a variety of Italian porn movies. Artists like Riz Ortolani,
Teo Uselli, Bruno Nicolay and Franco De Gemini.
peace!
