I would like to know more too. Here's what I know:

RAMP does stand for Roy Ayers Music Production. He's heavily credited on
the back cover (i have the record heh heh). The style is right in with
alot of the other stuff roy produced for his own Uno Melodic label, that
kind of off-key downtempo summer groove thing. I dont think he plays a
lick on the whole record, just produced and maybe wrote the stuff.

"Daylight" is one of the better tunes on the record and was sampled by
Tribe for "Bonita Applebum"

Theres one other good track on the record, which I think was sampled
after the Tribe sample hipped people to RAMP.

I dunno about the whole record getting bootlegged but Daylight is always
popping up on those poor-quality bootleg compilations (you know the ones
where you can hear the tape hiss from someones cassette copy of the
vinyl).
