(Get out your torches.) Last year was a bit of a disappointment compared
to the year before because almost all who submitted polls did so directly
to the person collecting them. So we were spared the bandwidth and got
the results in one message some time later in January or so. The year
before, on almost a daily basis for a while, we got poll after poll. Yes,
it seemed a bit much at the time but in retrospect, I got a lot more from
reading the individual polls and creating my own "statistics." Perhaps a
compromise would be for someone to receive the polls, compile them into
one message, and send it each day. That way you'd only have to hit the
delete key once if you didn't want to see the polls. I'm willing to
receive, compile, and send that once-a-day message. Someone else might
want to do the final stats. And is the form up-to-date or should
categories be revised?
