This was in Early Music America magazine:

An EMA member alerted us about a recent news item in her local paper
describing an award-winning high school science project demonstrating the
effects of music on lab mice. After the mice ran through a maze in about
10 minutes, one group of mice was exposed to classical music for 10 hours
a day, while the other was exposed to heavy metal rock music. After three
weeks of this regimen, the classical music mice made it through the same
maze in a minute and a half, while the heavy metal mice took 30 minutes.
The student had to cut his project short because the heavy metal mice then
killed each other.

OK, now let's speculate on what those mice would do after listening to
acid jazz 10 hours a day.
