Further to: recent inquiry re Steely Dan Peg sample. I keep hearing
sumfing at the moment that takes the Black Cow opening bass line. what
is it? (finger obviously very off the Hip Hop pulse right now!)

Incidentally, today's surfing throws up: the line "I saw You in Rudy's"
supposedly refers to Rudy's Bar and Grille, NY - a very beat bar with a
quite fabulous juke box feat. old Blue Note. [Hmmm - maybe I'll pop in
for a swifty on New Years Eve.] Well, ya learn something new every
day...
