More on Morcheeba

I'd like to jump into the Morcheeba debate with a big
"thumbs up." I only got the CD yesterday, but I've had
a tape with several of the tracks playing in my car for
the last month or so. This is some seriously soulful
trip-hop, bordering on blues. I find myself playing
this a lot more than I ever did the Portishead album.
(Sacrilege, I know.)

I also picked up a US promo single (on Discovery) of
"Trigger Hippie" with the following tracks:

1. Diabolical Brothers Mix
2. Hipstrumental Mix
3. Glide Sitar Mix
4. Bad Vibrations Mix
5. Album Version
6. Live at the Mackie

If you can find this, it's a much better deal than the
UK double-CDS. The last mix is an outstanding in-
strumental jam which indicates to me that they might
be quite impressive as a live band. (Too bad I missed
them when they played SF.)
