Don't get me wrong, I'm not against public distribution, I just don't
think we should sweat it, you know? But if we have opportunities out
there, then we should go for it. I *seriously* doubt that the Ubiquity or
Talkin Loud or Ninja Tune or Moonshine or what have you folks would
gobble this up and release it under their label (though I welcome the
opportunity for them to prove me wrong!), but when I mentioned getting
the help of "label people", what I had in mind was to hopefully have them
offer their wisdom and sage advice about the nuts & bolts in making a
"Compilation," of which they have had great experience in and which we
have relatively none.

Wise words! There's always the possibility of it being "picked-up" but - is
that the point? Also, about the money - I agree that it should go to reorders
and their costs or to put on a festival, release party - some kind of
publicity.
