Well, here is how I understand it and see it. Those sounds are
copyrighted by someone...label, publisher, toymaker. They can demand
payment for use....and if your record sells 500,000 copies you can bet
your life they will find out about it and come looking for the money. On
the other hand, if the record is on the underground level and maybe only
a few hundred or a few thousand are out chances are NOBODY WILL
NOTICE.....which is why so many unauthorized white label 12" remixes are
out there. In any case, chances are no money will be made on this
project........so I wouldn't worry about them asking for money you
don't have. In the end this is just a chance for us to promote our work
and get some attention......

BTW: I have some samples in two of my tracks that I am a little
nervous about. I just can't afford to worry about them....gotta keep
moving on. Anybody?
