I hail here from Cincinnati, where the an acid-jazz scene
is non-existent, the only thing cool bout being here is that
the midwest rave's put out a nice vibe since they havent suffered
the mainstreaming that they have on the coasts.
My taste's have changed a bit, when I first subbed on some
peeps gave me some advice on tunes ta pick up.
Well I'm nolonger the ska fan I used to be, raving basically
filled my need to dance, I still listed to ska, but the
love is no where near what it was 2 years ago.
As far as electronica, I'm a trip-hop, drum n bass, and
hard minimalized trance fan. I luv hard trance...
AND as far as acid jazz goes... however you define this
ultra-cool genre of music... here's what I like!
Chop Shop Collective: OH SHIT! ***** it gets five baybee!
Groove Collective: esp. the tracks where Nappy takes over
Greyboy: esp. G-breaks vol I
Alex Reece: smoooooooth.
What I dont find a d.i.g. to, not my style
Greyboy AllStars
Quiet Boys
(mainly the stuff closer to straight up Jazz)
