Dane,

My homie Sun has written it. This is one of their best albums. First, Maysa
is back on vocals, although amazingly the loss of all this great singers
Incognito had (Linda Muriel, Pamela Anderson etc.) was no problem at all on
the other Incognito albums. Beside Maysa there are at least two tracks with
Chris Ballin on lead vocals, all great soul songs and a good addition to all
their songs with female lead vocals. Indeed, the whole album is more soul
than any other Incognito release, but there are still this instrumental
grooves. But this time they are not making the whole album. A friend of mine
has always talked about Bluey's music as "elevator music" or "supermarket
music" (this ignorant guy!!), but with this release he can't say that
anymore (Peace, Franky Boy). And talking about the always great musicians on
their albums, this time you have beside the great Incongito horns the NYC
horn ("only" about 9 horn player) and a NYC string section. Unbelievable. I
don't know if you've heard the new maxi single of "Out of the storm", but
the best version of this song is on the CD, because it shifts after 4 min.
and something in this monster housy mover "Dark Side of The Cog". If you
like the other Incognito releases and like good soul music, you will love
this one!!!

For Sun: When is the Incognito and Jami release party? You mentioned it, but
you didn't said the date. C'ya there.

And now I am heading out, with the new MeShell maxi "Stay" in my DAT Player.
What a great day. So long, Gilbert
