Since I don=B4t work in a radio station I guess I can comment the radio scen=
e
in Portugal.

I=B4m a very recent addition to this list where I learned about Paulo's show
so I haven=B4t heard it yet. What I do hear is a station called XFM which is
allways on the cutting edge of music what ever it's kind or label. And
right now that=B4s (at least around here) drum n' bass and the so called tri=
p
hop. The truth is this is the only radio station (as I have said I haven=B4t
listened to Paulo on air yet) I have heard here, with music for music
lovers. Unfortunately, music nowadays is an industry of it's own and lives
by the rules of the market, so most radio stations will repeat endlessly
what they=B4re paid to repeat. Also, the great majority will want to hear th=
e
familiar (and overplayed) tunes so there is no space for true inovation and
genious.

Just to end this message, XFM is, by the law of numbers, not good business,
and so they are struggling to survive.

Pay them a visit at http://etc.pt/xfm/.

Sorry Paulo for advertising the competition but I am, as everybody might
have noticed, a true and dedicated supporter.
