I would prefere secondhand 1200's or 1210's over anything else..even new
turntables. You might not *NEED* a 1200..but its a great great GREAT
turntable and theres no reason for you to expect less of a ttable just
because "you wont be scratching".

I got Ortophone cartridges/styluses right now (cant remember the name of
the exact model) wich is ok for scratching AND sound good but they set
me back allmost $200 each :P Ortophone got some cheaper ones that arent
really suited for scratching but, ive been told, have a great sound!
