Hey all,
Salut to Daniel too! Stop sending this news!!! It hurts too much
reading it! ;-)

> - Solaar LP, "Paradisiaque"

I think it's interesting that you consider Solaar to be "graduating" from
the hip-hop crowd into the echelons of great French songwriters. Whgat I
wonder is whether or not this is a view also help by the rest of the French
public, in particular some of the other headz around the way, as I remember
hearing some time ago that Solaar (and some others such as Soon E MC,) were
considered almost to be sellouts by alot of people. At the time, I was
told that it was groups such as Iam and NTM that kept it all real. Response?

It's kinda hard for me to say whether or not Solaar sounds "commercial"
when I don't understand the lyrics! (Which brings me to my next point:
I'll let all know what I think of the LP once I get me hands on it, as you
were wondering Daniel what someone would think if they didn't understand
the lyrics!)

BTW Daniel, what's the label, catalogue number and how's about a track
listing? Am I sounding pushy yet? ;-)

Sounds great! Once again though Daniel, how's about the label, catalogue
number and track listing? (Continuing to prepare the site!)

Anyway, this is another one to look out for people and like Daniel says,
don't sleep on Motorbass!!!! Daft Punk rock, but Motorbass definetly kick
it too. "Pansoul" is one hell of a fine LP and I urge everyone who enjoyed
Daft Punk to search out Motorbass (or the "Road Masters" as my drunken
brother called them on his 18th birthday! ;-)

The forthcoming LP should be something to look out for too! After all,
"Pansoul" was great, but it did rehash some of Motorbass' earlier (and
slightly dated,) releases. This should be all new tracks!!! YAHOO!

> - I:Cube EP on versatile.....

Could you have meant these Daniel?

VER006
I:Cube - Picnic Attack LP

- no track listing available.

NOTES: Following "Disco Cubizm" and "Metamorphik" comes I:Cube's full
length album!

VER007
I:Cube - Picnic Attack RMX

- no track listing available.

NOTES: The first single from the "Picnic Attack" LP, including a remix by
Faceball 2000, an up-and-coming 17-year-old talent in the French house scene.

* Note some of the info above is adapted from Joerg's "New Releases" list.
That guy is a lifesaver, considering that there's noone in Paris bringing
news full-time these days.

>Dino, if you're there: something new for the site?

Definetly Daniel!! Lots of info for the site which is *still* being
constructed! Bare with us people. (BTW Daniel, you said that the LFM
interview appeared in "Le Monde"? Isn't this a major French newspaper!!)

When the site finally returns we'll be bringing you a whole bunch of new
stuff including mp3's, news (some of which should be direct from the LFM
crew themselves!), and the good ol' (but revamped!) Yellow Productions
discography!

That said, as I continue to update the site in anticipation of relaunch I'm
finding that large chunks of information are missing and I'm asking you
guys to help me...

I'm missing release information for the following;

VERSATILE - VER003 to VER005 inclusive.

YELLOW PRODUCTIONS - YP014 to YP022 inclusive, as well as YP024.

Can anyone help me out? If you can please submit info according to the
following format;

------------------------------------

YP023
Julius Papp - Cosmic Wave

- Cosmic Wave (Original mix)
- Cosmic Wave (Deep mix)
- Justified Music

NOTES: A new single by a U.S. house artist. Dimitri from Paris gives us
the Deep remix.

------------------------------------

If you can submit according to this format it'll probably save both you and
me time. RE: Notes - just put whatever you think is relevant. You can see
that above I've put who gives us the remix.

Anyway, be patient guys. I'm trying my best to get this thing up and
running, but as per usual I'm juggling three or four personal projects,
plus work and uni... Oi! It's a pain sometimes!

Let me know, if anyone has any info that will help!
Dino!
