Just wanted to let everyone know that in August Toronto will be hosting
an Acid Jazz and groove festival..I don't know anything else yet (dates.
venues, artists...) but just to warn you guys to look out for this.
Post any updates here, as I will do the same.
btw. If anyone from the acid jazz mailing list has any more info. pls

P.s. there is one artist I've checked out that will be playing at the
festival. Her name is Rita de Ghent and she'll be at lee's palace
August 20. Nothing at all like Jamiroquai, more jazz...but she does
this thing called 'sprawl' which incorporates jazz with a semi-hip hop,
scatting kinda vibe....She's pretty cool....(got her cd) she's got a
great voice!
