How did HR and Bad Brains...

...end up here? In any case, HR is most definitly a unique character.
put togther their best record in years (God of Love was the SH*T.....um,
for those of you who like that kind of stuff). In any case, they were on
tour out in the Midwest when someone in the audience pissed HR off by
spitting at him. So HR took the mic stand and swung into the audience.
That guy ducked and the stand took out a girl next to him. Thats the
story I heard. After that I hear HR was back in jail (again) and the
band finally said "F-it"
If anyone cares, Bad Brains is a group of Rastas from DC who play
hardcore (punk, not electronic) and the occasional "reggae" track. Hard
to explain. Measures and measures of ugly noise....then a few bars of
just brilliant grooves....and then more noise. All the while HR is
singing Marley style consciousness lyrics in grunts, growls and
falsettos.

Oh, HR has also put out some unusual new wave, reggae dub solo albums.
Apparantly skate and snowboarders love it?????
