Dear Mantronix freaks and others:

In case people are interested, "King Of The Beats" (one of the sickest
hip-hop sound collages of all time) has been issued on promo copies of the
new Kurtis Mantronik EP called "Music For The Dusted", on Oxygen Music
Works (marked as "K.O.T.B."). The song "On The Beatbox" on the A-Side is
dope too - new but classic Kurtis. He's got an LP coming out in the fall, I
guess.

Apparently the "for sale" version of the 12" *won't* have K.O.T.B. on it,
but at least there are 200+ more copies of that very-hard-to-find track
floating around in the world, maybe in some used 12" bins, so be on the
look out. Oxygen Music Works has a homepage too, I think, but I don't have
the address. Try a search engine...

I actually happen to have an extra copy of the original "King Of The Beats
/ Homeboys Make Some Noise / Join Me Please" 12" (w/ picture sleeve), but
someone would have to trade me something really dope for it to wrench it
out of my hands. Email me personally if you might have some good old-school
to barter with.

Peace,

Bri-ski
