well, i was there on day two.... but was unfortunatley a bit disapointed
(might be because of lack of sleep...)

heres my wiev of it all...

Bim Sherman - nice reggae/dub as usuall... nothing special but nice in the
sun that occasionally shone through on the otherwise rainy saturday...

Bus 75 - Swedish hip-hop... (part of the band Addis Black Widdow)... nice
on album... sucks bigtime live (also cause of poor sound quality...)

Jungle Brothers - god... i give up... hip-hop is NOT interesting live...
"raise your hands in the air" - "wave with your underwear" - well....
(actually... that was another dj who made the joke... the brothes got stuck
with the original...) . How come MC:s cant stick with the good stuff they
make on record? Why do they have to try and prove their freestyle skills
wich they obviosly dont have?? (not that i have any, but hell.. they are
good so why cant they put it into a live concert??).

Spiritualized - well... pink floyd and elo combined... hmm... real bad
sound here too (a bit much technical problems altoghether on this years
festival...). Well, i dont particilary like em on record... better live tho...

Monday Michiru - agree with Erik here.... she didnt do much of a show, but
heck... she is cute :)

Jamiroquai - well... kinda nice show, but a bit boring in the long run...
especially the repeated asking for marijuana wich tend to be a bit silly...
was nice to see him move live though... the guy could always make a living
in a circus if he looses it in the music biz...

Chemical Brothers - big dissapointment acctually.... they have gone from
being an interesting rock/hip-hop/experimental band to a decent techno
act.... i dont like it, im bored with it and by god... cant they just skip
that repetitive bas line and do something original again?? (all that comes
out of SKINT is WAY WAY better than this...). Well, to be honest... the gig
had its moments, but wasent anything out of the ordinary... sure they can
turn knobs on effect boxes, but is it really that good??

David Bowie - hmm... thought it might be interesting to see an old hero
live for the first time.... i can only say it wasent....

Death in Vegas - lovley!!!!!! at last i liked something.... especially the
new stuff they served... loads of dub and thrasy guitars all over....
mmmm... i like :)

Well, other news - Andrew Weatherhall never showed up (so it couldnt have
been him...). Two members of Primal Scream (dont know which ones) got
arrested for drugpossesion and spent the night in jail (hmm....).

thats about it IMHO.... still... a very good festival all in all.....
especially thoose skratching piklz (thanks for all the websites and info i
got... im awaiting their album with great interest...)
