> I wanna know where UFO buys their clothes; they dress kinda sharp!
I don't know what it's like out in the Wild West, but here in the big
middle (Pittsburgh & Cleveland) we see Japanese clothes brokers all the
time. Seriously, vintage clothing and rare groove records disappear into
the trunks of these Japanese buyers who scour this turf and send it
overseas. I'm a serious collector of 1950's and early '60's clothes and
have hit stores just as one of these cats are heading out. Visa platinum
buying power and a 300% mark-up waiting for them on the other side....
they are ruthless in the way they clean a place out.
One of my favorite merchants told me over the weekend that the hot
numbers for men now are 1930's & '40's work wear. To be eligible for
consderation, all shoes have to be 6 1/2 - 9 (no exceptions).
A bit of lifestyle ephemera for the list today.
