That's a 2 disc "retrospect" compilation and has a lot of good rare stuff. As
far as reissues go, in the U.S. there are only a couple from the Polydor years,
"Everybody.." which you have and "Mystic Voyage". There is also one reissued
on Verve "Live From Montreux" which was originally an import. That's it, I
think. Sucks because his stuff from this period seriously needs reissuing but
the "best of" compilations keep coming...

There are a quite a few of his titles from the '80s still on disc but most of
them are pretty crappy. Of course, in Japan, pretty much all of his stuff has
been reissued.

Hi Folks,

I just heard "Everybody Loves the Sunshine"...

What is / are good Roy Ayers albums avail on cd? I would probably prefer
a reissue rather than a compilation...depending on the quality of the
comp. I looked thru the archives and only found one cd referred to,
"Evolution" - is this a good cd?
